new years day is always such a fun but long day. we head off to my grandfathers for about noon and don't leave from there until about 9pm. with my dad being the oldest of 10 kids there is always a ton of people there. this year there was probably between 80-90 people there. the kids have a blast running around and playing with all of their cousins. with pops birthday being on jan. 2 we always celebrate it on new years day. so cece got his favorite red velvet cake and gathered all the grandkids around to sing happy birthday.
after cake we went out to play on the fire truck. uncle mickey is a JP fireman and worked today. so de stopped by with some other firemen to grab something to eat and let the kids sit in the firetruck...always a big hit!
